Who are we?

What is a Partner Operator?

As a Partner Operator at Burger King, you will enter a world where innovation and quality reign, while having the opportunity to grow alongside one of the world’s most iconic brands. You will be 100% responsible for the operation of the restaurants, exercise clear leadership and professional personnel management, ensure training and development of employees, set goals for the continued development of the department, and safeguard financial viability and growth. You will always ensure that the restaurants are operated according to Burger King’s concept. A typical partner with us is responsible for 2–5 restaurants, but as a rapidly growing company, we are focused on connecting with ambitious partners who aim to grow with us. The limit to how many units the ideal operator manages depends entirely on your own ambition, competence, and success!

  • I started working at Burger King Moa in 2012 when I was 15 years old. At the time, I was looking for a part-time job alongside school. What I enjoy most about working at BK is all the great people you get to know. I also really enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Today, I am managing three locations, and I’ve held every position from crew member to restaurant manager along the way. One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years is how to handle stress. It’s a skill I use not only every day at work, but also in everyday life!

  • I joined Burger King in 2016 and have been part of this amazing team ever since. The opportunity to work in a team environment was new and exciting for me, and I was drawn to the potential for career progression and the supportive work culture. Over the years, I've advanced from working in the kitchen to becoming a Restaurant Manager in 2022. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to develop my skills, take on more responsibility, and contribute to the strategic goals of the restaurant. The most important lesson I've learned is the value of teamwork and adaptability, which are crucial for both personal and professional growth. Burger King truly empowers its employees to grow and succeed, making it an ideal place for young people looking to make a career

  • I started at Burger King as a 17-year-old when the Strømmen Storsenter location opened. In 2024, I celebrated 30 years with the company. Over the years, I’ve managed several restaurants and supported the opening of new locations, trained new franchisees, and helped onboard head office staff. Now I'm aiming for 5-6 restaurants in my portfolio. What I value most is the people—no two days are the same, and I’m constantly learning from those around me. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is giving people who might otherwise struggle to enter the workforce a real opportunity to grow and thrive. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? A successful business starts with people who feel safe and supported. When people are supported and feel safe, they learn faster, contribute more, and help create a strong, positive work environment. That’s when great results follow naturally.
