Burger King has been part of everyday life in Norway since 1988. We’re known for our flame-grilled burgers and unforgettable flavors, served daily by our amazing team across 107 restaurants nationwide. But we’re more than just a QSR chain – we’re the kingdom of burgers, where innovation, quality, and memorable guest experiences reign. Here, the Guest is King, the Whopper is the Crown Prince, and the fries are the royal court. We are now looking for a more Partners who can help us take Burger King Norway to new, epic heights! 🚀🍔👑
What is a Partner Operator?
As a Partner Operator at Burger King, you will enter a world where innovation and quality reign, while having the opportunity to grow alongside one of the world’s most iconic brands. You will be 100% responsible for the operation of the restaurants, exercise clear leadership and professional personnel management, ensure training and development of employees, set goals for the continued development of the department, and safeguard financial viability and growth. You will always ensure that the restaurants are operated according to Burger King’s concept. A typical partner with us is responsible for 2–5 restaurants, but as a rapidly growing company, we are focused on connecting with ambitious partners who aim to grow with us. The limit to how many units the ideal operator manages depends entirely on your own ambition, competence, and success!

I started working at Burger King Moa in 2012 when I was 15 years old. At the time, I was looking for a part-time job alongside school. What I enjoy most about working at BK is all the great people you get to know. I also really enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Today, I am managing three locations, and I’ve held every position from crew member to restaurant manager along the way. One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years is how to handle stress. It’s a skill I use not only every day at work, but also in everyday life!

I joined Burger King in 2016 and have been part of this amazing team ever since. The opportunity to work in a team environment was new and exciting for me, and I was drawn to the potential for career progression and the supportive work culture. Over the years, I've advanced from working in the kitchen to becoming a Restaurant Manager in 2022. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to develop my skills, take on more responsibility, and contribute to the strategic goals of the restaurant. The most important lesson I've learned is the value of teamwork and adaptability, which are crucial for both personal and professional growth. I started at Burger King as a 17-year-old when the Strømmen Storsenter location opened. In 2024, I celebrated 30 years with the company. Over the years, I’ve managed several restaurants and supported the opening of new locations, trained new franchisees, and helped onboard head office staff. Now I'm aiming for 5-6 restaurants in my portfolio. What I value most is the people—no two days are the same, and I’m constantly learning from those around me. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is giving people who might otherwise struggle to enter the workforce a real opportunity to grow and thrive. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? A successful business starts with people who feel safe and supported. When people are supported and feel safe, they learn faster, contribute more, and help create a strong, positive work environment. That’s when great results follow naturally.

Your Role
As a Partner Operator, you’ll enter a world where innovation and quality lead the way – and you’ll grow alongside one of the world’s most iconic brands. You’ll be fully responsible for restaurant operations, lead and develop your team, set goals for growth, and ensure financial sustainability. You’ll always operate in line with the Burger King concept.
Most partners manage 2–5 restaurants, but as a fast-growing company, we’re looking for ambitious collaborators who want to grow with us. The number of restaurants you manage depends entirely on your ambition, skills, and success.
Who are you?
You’re a results-driven entrepreneur with a passion for royal service and hands-on leadership. You’re loyal to the brand and concept, while also bringing fresh ideas to attract local guests. You thrive on new challenges, lead by example in a busy environment, and have a strong commercial instinct.
To succeed, you’ll need solid financial acumen and the ability to drive results through teamwork. We’re looking for ambitious partners who want to grow with us.
Your Background
- Passion for delivering great guest experiences
- Proven leadership experience and ability to build independent teams
- Knowledge of labor laws and relevant regulations
- Experience in the restaurant or retail industry
- Have passed or are eligible to pass the Norwegian business start-up test (etablererprøven)
- Strong financial understanding
- Fluent in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, both spoken and written
