  • So funny that you ask! It depends a bit on the type of job, and we process applications continuously. Sometimes it takes time to find the right match, but we strive to provide feedback to all candidates regardless of the outcome. Contact the recruiter/hiring manager if you think it has been a long time since you heard back from us!

  • It varies depending on the role, but in our restaurants, we’re not focused on a fancy resume but on who you are and what you can bring to the team. Most importantly, we value your strive to give 100% every day to treat every single guest like a King!

  • GDPR is the abbreviation for General Data Protection Regulation, also referred to as the Privacy Regulation. This is a regulation, or a new privacy law if you will, which was adopted in the EU and entered into force on 25 May 2018.

    The whole point of this new law is to protect personal data and the processing of these in the EU. That is, to check that personal information about me and you are collected and taken care of in a secure way, and at the same time give users more rights when it comes to our own information.

    As a member of both the EEA and Schengen, the law also applies to Norway. This means that all Norwegian companies have to comply with the new privacy regulation, regardless of size, as long as they receive and process information that can be linked to individuals. Be it customers, stakeholders, or own employees.

BURGER KING® was founded in 1954 and is the second largest fast-food hamburger chain in the world. In Norway, the first Burger King restaurant opened its doors in Oslo in 1988. Since then, we have grown and now we have more than 100 restaurants spread across the country from Mandal in the south to Tromsø in the north.

Today, Burger King has 18,000 restaurants worldwide, serving 2 billion Whoppers annually - still with the same vision from 1954.

King Food A/S is the master franchisee in Norway and is responsible for the brand and its franchisees. Globally, the Burger King brand is owned by Restaurant Brands International, headquartered in Miami, USA.
